BOOK
The shawl is 80cm wide with four layers of cloth bound along one side. This was made possible by leveraging “Shiju Hira ori” (Quadruple-layered Weave), weaving one side bound, another side apart. It is like a book where a layer flips one by one. Just open a page (or a color) you like, and you can enjoy variety of ways to wrap it around yourself. The sizable shawl keeps you warm in a cold wind too. The three colors are available; ANTIQUE – like a historical learning book; MAGAZINE – like a life-style magazine creating an era; and NEWSPAPER – that reports what’s going on in society. Choose the one you like form the three types of “BOOK”s.
